For this LOVE month, we hope that you will open your hearts and make monetary donations towards the daily care and needs of 72 children with physical and mental challenges currently residing in the village. All donations will be tallied at the end of the month. The donor with the highest cumulative donation for the month will enjoy a fine dining experience for two at Antonio’s Fine Dining. The recipient will be notified by email with dining details. On June 27, 2020, the Mapanao Family launched “Vernissage,” a photography exhibition featuring the works of Bryan Rigg at their coffee shop, Viverra Coffee, in Geneva, Switzerland. All the proceeds of this showcase will benefit the Chosen Children Village Foundation, Inc. (CCV), an orphanage for disabled children in the Philippines. The opening was attended by members of the local community, including Ambassador Evan Garcia. Rigg is one of the members of the CCV Board of Trustees. His photographs feature the natural landscape of the Philippines as well as abstract subjects. One of his most popular prints is called “Water Lillies.” The photographs can also be printed as postcards, which buyers can give to their friends. Chosen Children Village is a haven for abandoned, neglected, and surrendered children with physical and mental disabilities. It has been badly affected by the eruption of the Taal Volcano (a mere 8 kilometers away from the village) last January 12th. And although it remains free of the COVI
